Ghana forward Jordan Ayew meets President Nana Akufo-Addo in London discussed how to win World Cup among other things.

Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew has met President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo, who is on a visit of the United Kingdom.

Nana Akufo-Addo has been in the UK for business purposes as he continues to open up the country’s tourism sector to other nations.

Jordan Ayew met the President in London, after Crystal Palace’s game against Arsenal. A game the Eagles won 3-0 with the Ghanaian forward on target.

The 31-year-old had a conversation with the country’s Commander-in-Chief before presenting him with his jersey.

They spoke about the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Ghana have been drawn alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

Jordan Ayew played a key role as Ghana returned to the World Cup after urging Nigeria in the playoff last week.

Nana Akufo-Addo met the Black Stars team in Accra before his trip to the United Kingdom last week, but could avoid the striker as he touched down in London.

Jordan Ayew and his Black Stars teammates will start their World Cup campaign with an opening game against Portugal, before playing South Korea and Uruguay.
