Hearts of Oak’s Dennis Korsah dropped from Black Stars traveling squad to Angola despite earning a late call up.

The Ghanaian left-back Dennis Korsah has been opted from Ghana’s squad to Angola for their second 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game against Central Africa Republic.

The Black Stars are aiming at a second consecutive win after dispatching Madagascar 3-0 in Cape Coast on Wednesday night in Group E game.

Dennis Korsah who earned a late call-up to the Black Stars camp on Thursday, has been dropped from the squad for the encounter on Sunday, June 05, 2022 in Angola.

Coach Otto Addo has confirmed a squad of twenty-five (25) players for the game without any local based player.

Daniel Afriyie Barnie and Augustine Okrah who were already in camp when Ghana beat Madagascar did not make the cut for the match.

Dennis Korsah was also denied a place in the team that has three goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders and nine attackers.
